Ugh... Maxi...

I will never understand what people see in him. Hes someone whos nearly good. But he always ends up lacking real quality, enough to make a positive effect on the game. Its like his technique is slightly off. I am hoping he will find a bit more accuracy with his passing in the second half, and not let the opposition nick the ball off him (let alone tapping the ball into the net).

And poor Dirk. He really isnt suited to quick passing, but he has managed to be fairly decent. He is never going to threaten the goal though (as our only striker)

Carra and Kelly have been awsome. Good football. This is why I grew up supporting this club. If nothing else Dalglish has got us passing the ball, and playing the game as it should be played. ANd fair play to the players for showing they can knock it about.

He didn't miss an open goal, it was a very difficult ball to deal with as it was swerving a bit.

It was a shocking miss. Any footballer at this level and two tiers bellow it needs to put it in the back of the net.

I just wish Carra would stop punting aimless balls upfront, as it's not Dirk's forte to be chasing airplanes, FFS.

if you look at some of those punts, look at the options he has. try a risky pass to someone under pressure or launch and play the percentages. better to give them the ball deep in their own half than 25 yards out aka Maxi.
