Jamie Carragher starts for Liverpool for the first time since November against Chelsea today - listen live 3.55pm GMT.

The centre-back comes in for Sotirios Kyrgiakos as part of a three-man centre-back line. Luis Suarez, meanwhile, once again starts from the bench.

The Reds team in full is: Reina, Carragher, Skrtel, Agger, Kelly, Johnson, Gerrard, Lucas, Maxi, Meireles, Kuyt. Subs: Gulacsi, Aurelio, Suarez, Jovanovic, Kyrgiakos, Ngog, Poulsen.

More worried about the bench. Poulsen and Jovanovic FFS.

Same team/formation as against Stoke, with Carra replacing Soto. I'd have stuck with Soto and let Carra warm the bench. Chelsea are going to pump in plenty of long balls in, Skrtel being not particularly good in the air.
                Are we winning?

Me too. With Suarez out we don't have a scoring threat. It seems we are not going for a win.

Yup, agree with that. Harsh on Soto to be dropped.

Still, should make for a cracking rant from GorbyPeacePrize when he logs in

Knew Carra would start to get the boys up for it, hope he's fit & lets Torres know he's there. Kuyt was excellent upfront on his own in last game and Suarez will be on at some point but isn't fit enough to start.

Decent line up IMO, its the Chelsea team sheet that i'm interested in

So it looks like this might become Kennys new formation then

I thought it might just have been to combat Stoke's 'unique' brand of football

I fear Carra might endure a torrid return.
