He also launched at least three of his trademark aimless hoofs to nobody. In fairness he played well overall. If he could just bring himself to pass to Lucas instead of hoofing when Lucas is the better option we'd be a lot better off. I watched him to check this and I didn't see him pass to Lucas at all. Definitely seems to have an issue about it

Yes, I saw a couple of hoofs. My point though was to highlight something he's not renowned for; I wasn't suggesting he's suddenly turned into a totally different player.

I hadn't noticed him choosing not to pass to Lucas but after his first successful long pass I paid pretty close attention to what he was doing. Certainly for at least one of those hoofs in the second half Lucas was marked and there wasn't an easy ball.

In fact I thought our movement wasn't as good today as it has been recently, although that's one of the things it's particularly difficult to assess properly from the telly.
