Heard "Sign on" early in the game - first 10 mins. Nothing after that though..

That's usually just differentiated from a pass by being called a clearance, Arn.

Hoof implies someone being a donkey and doing the only thing they're capable of

Update....in the 56th minute now, and i've just heard a brief burst of 'chewsea chewsea chewsea'

very encouraging to see glojo cutting in on a semi regular basis and cracking off a shot. been narrowly wide and over in recent matches, and you wouldn't bet against him scoring a few this season.

meireles looks on target to hit 15

what's his most prolific season before now? whatever it was, he seems set to smash it.

I kinda feel sorry for the guy. I'm over the fact that he has left, but I think it's obvious in the earlier days he was dedicated to the club, probably because he thought he would win stuff with us his recent actions certainly seem selfish in that respect.

I just think he will look at LFC and see everything he has given up and regret it, maybe he already does, don't know but he looked down in the dumps today. ****er deserves it mind.

Believe it or not, 5 is actually his most prolific before this season. He only scored 19 in his six years at Porto.

Carra don't have Agger's passing game so it will be more hoofs in pressured situations.

Carra is an out and out defensive defender. Very good at that but very average attacking.

The question is if we can afford to have one central defender that is only there to defend? Will that affect our attacking play to much? Do it cost us to many counter attacks to play with a defender like Carra?
Hes a defender not a playmaker

Aye but can we afford to have a defender who's just a great defender. Man of the match today but he can't dribble like Messi so he's ****.

I was watching a stream - Fox - and all I can do is for y'all that travelled and sang. It was brilliant, uplifting, inspiring. Whatever the score - it was bloody marvellous.

Anfield used to be like that every match.

I hate it when people talk about hoofing the ball away. its getting it out of danger you cant just dribble the ball past drogba and anelka

Nah, as I mentioned earlier in the thread he had a very good second half, especially towards the end.

Really maturing as a player now. You could tell that the Drobga incident rattled him, he miscontrolled a pass soon after and was a bit anxious on the ball. I thought he would retreat into his shell, but he kept plugging away and really stepped up when he saw Poulsen warming up.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
