I know this is just ****, but I'm happy so I don't care. I was playing FIFA 11 against my girlfriend's 6 year old son, I played as us and he selected Manchester United. Every time Rooney took a shot he scored and every time Torres did he skyed it. I'm sure the programmers must be Mancs. Anyway, I hope that in real life every shot Torres takes in future hits row Z.

Was amazed how well he 'fitted' into the LFC shirt as well. He's a big shouldered lad, no mistake. Joe Cole was positively in tears playing against him.

For those having a go at Maxi, he played in mid today, had a 89% pass accuracy, 4 interceptions and 2 tackles. His passing is clever and keeps the ball moving and he rarely loses possession.

He does need to learn to not give the ball away though.

Considering how congested the midfield was that’s not bad. A few players in both teams were caught out (or nearly caught out) quite a few times as there was very little room, but sadly for Maxi he committed two tragic mistakes.

I think if we play that formation again I’d like to see Aurelio play again. Was very impressive against Stoke and looked good again today. If we play 3 up top again, put Maxi back in in his usual position.
