Chelsea next game away at Fulham. Quite a tricky one for them, they don't have it easy against the bigger club from West London.

    Spurs away at Sunderland too.

We could be closer if we beat Wigan.

Its definaltely on. If we keep winning and Chelsea and Spurs make one more slip up, its all to play for.

Importantly we have the momentum, which is vital at this stage of the season.

We, the fans, got slated over Hodgson from all quarters. 'knowledgeable fans, bull****' etc etc. We don't look as clueless now though eh.

It would be some kind of Karma to achieve a top 4 place at Chelsea's expense. But right now it does look a little improbable. Let's just concentrate on and win our own games and see where we end up.

I think it is definitely on if we maintain this form. The distraction of the Champions' league and the close proximity of games should any team get further, could leave the door ajar.

We can't lose with the two Chelsea/United games, win, lose or draw is a positive result for ourselves.

Away derby next for Chelsea with a resurgent Fulham and Spurs have a tricky away tie at Sunderland both before big Champions' league games, we could be even closer this time next week.

I've settled on 6th and in light of what's gone on this season I'd be satisfied with 6th.

But I honestly think next year's title race is gonna be wide open, and we'll have every chance.

It would take at least 30 points to nick 4th IMO. Highly unlikely but we'll give it a hell of a go.

Seriously, is 6 points difference (between ourselves and Chelsea/Spurs) that big a deal at this stage of the season? I honestly think we have infinitely more hunger for that spot than those two and stand a good chance of finishing above them. Dalglish is on a mission, that is what will drive us.

We've still got to play Spurs at Anfield too, win that it's on.
