Been saying this for ages, i said that if we can finish on 65 points, we could yet get 4th. One of the caveats was that we win at Chelsea and beat Spurs at anfield.

12 games left. Win 9 out of 12 and i think it might just be enough.

Chelsea and Spurs are inconsistent and we have great momentum, confidence and spirit.

But we need to keep it up. If we can get the same momentum going of when we came 2nd, it could well be on.

What makes me feel so pissed off is the fact we didn't get Kenny in sooner. I've seen Craig H have a moan about FSG for taking so long to act and I have to say I 100% agree with him.

If we had got Kenny in the door in time for the first Everton game I really think we would be in the mix for a top 4 position now as opposed to trying to catch coat tails.

Had Broughton and Purslow given him the job at the start of the season, who knows? The league has been that bad it could have been a title challenge. It's close between the top 4, so tbh to have been in there fighting for 4th would have meant we would also have been challenging for the title, as improbable as that sounds.

Big opportunity missed this season. In all probability it is to late for 4th, but at least we'll likely finish in the Europa League placings and can build enough momentum to have a real crack at winning that competition this year.

That said, if everyone stays fit and Suarez and Carroll come in and have an impact............. You never know.
If we'd got Kenny in November, do people really think Wolves would have beaten us at Anfield? Do they think we would have drawn at Wigan and lost at Stoke?

I certainly think that a Kenny-managed LFC would've won all three of those games, which would have given us 8 more points. Dont think we'd have lost at Blackburn or Newcastle either.

I honestly think we'd be in the title race now if Kenny had been hired in November.

That's why I think with good investment this summer, we could challenge as early as next year.
          Are we winning?

Four wins on the bounce gives us momentum. Suarez will shortly be match fit, that will give us added impetus and help us push-on. Then comes another forward shove with Carroll returning from injury. We'll need a little bit of luck along the way but fourth is possible.

Mancs will be coming to Anfield after midweek game at Stamford Brigde as well which means that demento won`t be able to play ****ty players like gibson or smalling to give wio or giggs rest. Hopefully they will have some difficult champions league game after that aswell.

We have lots in reserve still in those two, our squad is now big enough to compete in the Europa and gun for 4th. Cole, Maxi, Poulsen and Ngog can get results in the Europa.

Sincerely hope so. Knowing our luck, next year the ****ing points tally needed for the title will probably go sky-high, around 96 or something. Would be typical. We could've challenged THIS season, if things had been done differently

And i'm not slagging off the owners here, i'm really not. I think they made a mistake and i've said that before, i still think they did. But i'm not slagging them off for it, it wasnt done with malice and mistakes happen.

I'm just frustrated at what might have been, if it had been done differently. But it's in the past, the future looks good, so onwards

Seeing how many people Hodgson seem to have fooled, you couldn't really blame the owners though mate. But we seem to be well on our way back now, so it's upwards and onwards.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Of course it is on. You try telling KK and the players that it isn't. Will be a tough tough ask but I also believe!!
