It's a pretty poor midfield tbh. Wigan have a habit of playing well against us too.

With Agger and Gerrard both out this looks an OK team. It is good to see that Pacheco is on the bench. We could give Wigan a tough time down the left with both Johnson and Aurelio playing on that side

We are playing at home and we are on the high. It should be no dilemma for the final result.

        Suarez will score.

Yes, I don't expect this to be too easy or pretty.

It's a decent midfield. Aurelio and Maxi are both excellent at keeping the ball.
            Are we winning?

Apart from Soto, not much experience on the bench.

Well Poulsen's got lots of experience. Of playing badly.

He must be. You wouldn't replace him with Skrtel, who was rumoured to be injured, if he was fit.

Don't need experience against a shower of **** like Wigan.

I remember last year vs Wigan we made Figueroa look like the best player in the world

You know I never understood why we waste space on the woodwork for less then average players that more then likely won't be here come next season (jova, poulsen) We know what we have with them (not much) Why don't we use that space for some guys that have a chance of a future with the club and can become contributors of tomorrow?

                            Suarez starts

No Agger is he injured or just rested after the midweek international?

Well Poulsen is there because he can fill a role that we might need, and I don't think we have reserve DM options that are ready for the first team. As vilified as Poulsen is, he's not usually that bad.
