Thanjk you.

I don't think there is any doubt about that. We would not be signing Carroll unless we are planing to provide him with the support and service that he requires.
Buying Andy was only the first step. Getting a good quality winger will be in works for summer for sure.

ok fair enough but if you were inter with muntari or psg with sessegnon, surely you would look at liverpool and think maxi or sessegnon, lucas or muntari ?
maxi loses that battle every day, but the lucas one is closer. even then i think that liverpool dont have the depth of talent to scare decent players away. Charlie adam wanted to come here and why would he do that if he thought he was going to be on the bench despite the fact that we have lucas, meireles, gerrard and shelvey ?
This liverpool squad isnt anywhere near good enough and its such a shame that our reserve team is still a couple of years away for the likes of coady, wisdom, sterling, silva, suso, and ngoo. if you add robinson and flanagan to that list its almost a full team of talented players.
these lads in three seasons time will a tour de force and its just a shame that they arent ready yet. If they were we'd be a different proposition.
[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]
Stubborn behaviour to say the least, we've been critical of Meireles in the past(and rightly so) but now that's he's started performing, we've praised him.

agree about the youngsters. just saying that even if it's the fact that they would play, there's considerably less guarantee with us than there would be with other clubs. not to mention, from their perspective they'd probably want to hold out for a sale, because we're a big club.
We really showed our lack of midfield depth today (especially after Raul went off), we need another attack minded player we can bring in there and some extra quality to play wide as Jovanovic is not really upto the standard we require.
Kuyt was disappointing which is a shame as he had been excellent in the 2 previous games, Kelly was very poor too and neither did enough going forward or enough in defence were Carra constantly had to cover for him.
Positive though that Suarez looks very good.
You could see today why Kenny wanted to bring in Adam
couple of injuries and we are relying on Shelvey (yes I know hes currently injured), Poulsen (meh) and Aurelio (not his natural position
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
He is infinitely better than Konchesky and overall, Kelly has shown why he is not ready to play the odd game. As he stays in the team his performances have diminished and he has real problems with giving the ball away which he didn't when he was used sparingly.
Konch is a calamity. Kelly has shown "exactly" why he should be playing regularly and deservedly so. His performances has been some of the most consistent in our whole squad matt?
He is a young lad, that has come in at RB not his natural position, because Glen Johnson was having such a bad time there. Kelly has shown himself to be a better option than Johnson there, delighted The King decided to do this and it has worked for us.
IMO Aurelio is a much much better option at LB than Johnson, better defender and has better delivery when he gets up the left side. its all about opinions but IMO Johnson isn't good enough to be in our starting eleven.
also, matador, i do think it's an attractive time for good players to want to come here and try to make their mark, it's more the business people at the other clubs i don't think would see us as such a friendly loanee club. for one thing we might play them at some point, and for another we're a big enough club that we could buy a player that would make it even harder for the loanee to make it into/stay in the first team.
I forgot to add he has great skill and I like the little fella, but he is always looking to get a free kick. Gamesmanship or whatever its cheating in my book, the bain of todays game. Someone else in the match thread mentioned the Ronaldo comparison also. I don't see why I can't suggest one of our own players likes to gain an advantage by hitting the deck. Or is it only our opponents that we can pick up on?
I'm honestly really excited about the bloke but he can learn from Dalglish.
Looking to get freekicks isnt cheating its clever play
Even Kenny looked for freekicks at times but he wasnt a diver
To me there is a massive difference between diving (going down when there is no contact) and playing for freekicks (making the most out of ANY contact)
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
You rate Johnson and Maxi, but not N'Zogbia, priceless
N'Zogbia doesn't lack quality at all, he can go past players, he's quick, he's mobile, he's strong, he can cross the ball well, he can score goals.
He's a very exciting winger.
He didnt do much of that today though

I think we're clearly in need of some creativity in the side as the depth is pretty woeful.
Performance today wasn't brilliant by any stretch but there are some positives as well, a month or so ago under the Bodge we'd have lost this game and we have to remember 13 from 15 points is good form - getting the 4th place was always going to be a tough gig but not over quite yet.
Suarez looks like he'll be a proper player for us and with Carroll to come into the side when fit it's not all doom and gloom!
