fair enough, i re-read your original post, after i posted, i see what you mean..

I'm sure the King would admit privately, that he made a wrong call in bringing Jova on..

After looking back at this, i'm pretty sure Jova's time is up..

(Apart from Euro Disney) I hope i'm right..

Carroll and Suarez have been involved in some **** in the past themselves too, particularly Carroll and you're not condemning them.

N'Zogbia's a very good player, i'm just surprised alot of people on this forum don't rate him.
      He was ****e today

      Just rewatched it

Barring the cross for their goal he was woeful

        Please READ what I said

His attitude is that of a big time charlie

The comparisons with Carroll & Suarez are ****ing daft, their actions dont affect their teammates

        People like N'Zogbia do

Hes a half decent player (****ing bollocks today mind) but I'm none too convinced of his attitude

I'd say that Andy Carroll affected a team mate when Steven Taylor's jaw had to be wired in place after a training ground fight.

            Says who?

Let me guess, he was probably a cocky French kid in his Newcastle days, rubbed one or two people up the wrong way and they go running to the press about it... big ****in deal.

The fact of the matter is he's a quality footballer. Seems to me you're using this SUPPOSED bad boy image he has as justification why we shouldn't sign him.

That fight was supposedly because of Taylor bragging how much he earned - Taylor wants to be lucky he didnt do that to Souness in the 70's he'd have ripped his ****ing head off

Fights on the training ground were common place during the 70's & 80's at Melwood

But they turned a blind eye as long as it didnt affect the team status quo the moment it did they shipped problem player out (see Ray Kennedy, Jimmy Case, Ray Clemence & Terry McDermott)

Carroll also had a punch up with N'Zogbia which led to Newcastle actively seeking to sell him

I've no qualms with "bad boys" but the moment they start distrupting team morale then I'd **** them off

Taylor shouldn't have got in the big mans way. The End.

A big reason to why we get so few counter attacks is Carra. As long as he don't pass the ball better then he simply shouldn't play.

His passing statistic from the game.

                          Passes 43, made 26, unsuccessful 17.

                          Compare that with Skrtel.

                          Passes 32, made 28, unsuccessful 4.

If Carra don't improve on this then he shouldn't play, it is as simple as that. It shocking bad statistics. He hurt our attacking play to much. It isn't just this game that he gives away the ball to much. It happens in almost every game.

This is probably the key reason to why we dropped two points. A central defender that gave away the ball time after time after time. It is difficult to get a good tempo in the game when you give away the ball a lot.

Surley though that's not a true representation of Carras general play, because if it is he's causing us as many problems by conceding possession as he solves with his superb defending..

****ing hell, carra was our best defender yesterday by far. those stastics don't into account things such as clearances, are they a misplaced pass or a clearance from danger?

Often he has little choice but to launch when there's no other options, Carra plays the percentages. There was one long ball towards Saurez yesterday that was cut out, but the little fella appauded the attempt to find him.

The problem is when Agger is missing we have no naturally comfortable centre back who can come out with the ball.

First and foremost a centre backs job is to defend and stop goals, **** all else matters.

As for a key reason we dropped points, come on ffs.

Normally he has Agger there. Similar to a Masch/Alonso role. Get the ball and give it to the passer. Also, Agger probably is a calming influence on the team and when people around you are all passing it then Carra is probably more likely to pass the ball. Nonetheless I think Carra's passing doesn't help.
