The point I'm trying to make is that Skrtel is painted out as an headless chicken with an accident waiting to happen when Carra doesn't get slated even close as much as him when in reality Carra is at least as big liability as Skrtel.

Why? The only answer I can figure out is that Carra is a local lad and Skrtel a foreigner.

This season Skrtel has been the better one. He has been the better defensive defender and the better attacking defender.

No one of them should be in a starting XI that want to challenge for a top four place in the league.

Either we give Wilson the chance next season or sign up a new quality central defender.

stats can only tell you so much, doesn't tell you how Carra marshalls the back line and doesn't show the points you've raised about Skrtels game either

Somewhat yes, I think Arn has a few blindspots in terms of Carra, Gerrard and of course Rafa - admirable to a point the loyalty to Rafa but it's getting a bit dull now with all the attacks on our own players - support the team not the man!
