I dunno about anyone else, but i'm getting sick to ****ing death of Arn posting the same ****e over and over and over again, in virtually every thread which he can loosely fit it into, and making the whole ****ing site repetitive, tedious and boring.

Change the ****ing record, we KNOW you think Gerrard is a selfish cunt, we KNOW you think Carragher's a ****** who cant pass and we KNOW you think Rafa's the 2nd incarnation of the almighty. ****'s sake, we know.

Can he not be given his own forum to peddle this constantly repetitive and boring ****e? Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

When Alex opens a thread with Torres in the title, he's gonna know it's about Fernando Torres.

When i open a thread about the post match reaction to wigan, i'm not to know that it's going to be arn bitching about Carragher/Gerrard etc. Because that isnt the topic, is it?

It's funny...i always used to get admonished for doing what arn is alway allowed to keep doing, over and over again. Interesting.

bit late to this thread! but after the match saturday i went straight out and didn't get home till some silly time sunday morning and slept all day.

So most of this has prob been said

very dissapointing and brings u back down to earth a little after a good run

We really really missed Gerrard. We started brightly, and meireles, aurelio, maxi, suarez in particular seemed to link up well and get forward

Losing meireles straight after the restart was a major blow - it ****ed up any rythym we had....Ngog came on and didn't really offer much - but it was the midfield were i felt it was lost - with fabio and lucas in the middle and then maxi and kuyt right and left, we were so slow, we couldn't break at any pace and we just seemed to lose possesion easily and make a meal of winning it back

Positives - Suarez looked very very lively again and was unlucky not too score - the sooner we get him alongside carroll the better, plus we didn't lose so we are now unbeaten in 5!

Negatives - dirk dirk dirk after a couple of slighlty better performances (purely down to his workrate) he slipped right back down again - so so wasteful in possesion, every pass he tried to play seemed to hit one of their players, everytime the ball went forward to him he seemed to stop, stopping the forward momentum and then went sideways. In the first half, right in front of us, on the break Suarez and pulled away wide left into acres of space and the pull came to kuyt - there was one defender who didn't know whether to stick or twist about 10 yards from kuyt and in behind him was acres for suarez to run into - It wasn't even a difficult pass to play and dirk hit it straight at the one defender - inexcusable for me.

I like maxi and dirk, in the sense that they offer a bit of experience and have both done well at times - but we need to improve massivly on both of them if we are to compete - I'd keep one or both of them as squad players, but we need a right and a left mid/winger

I've said before I think we have too many 'passive' players in midfield, only really Gerrard is capable of taking control of a game and making things happen through his drive and determination, we miss that when he isn't there. Even if he doesn't do something himself he makes other people play better. We need more players who are like that and can make things happen. Suarez looks like a player who can do this but he plays too far up the field to have a consistent effect on the team if we have too many passive players behind him.
