Well that's going to get Carroll, Reina and Suarez's juices running. If this was Rafa's or Hodgson's setup they would have rightly been burned down by now. Sat back throughout the whole match, playing players that couldn't trap or pass for dishwater.

Only saw 2nd half but ****in hell that was painful stuff.

Can't think of a single Liverpool player that played well.

That was pretty awful. Can't say there were any positives there at all.

Thank **** we only have 3 days to erase the memory of that **** 'football' we served up.

TBF Sparta were utter ****e as well so it was basically the worst advert ever for the Europa League and football in general.

                      Reina did well.

Well, you can say that KK and Clarke still have a lot to improve on when it comes down to our attacking game. That has simply not been good enough so far since KK took charge. The defensive part of our game works much better.

KK clearly wanted 0-0 and he got it. We almost didn't even try to score.

Every other post you slate him, but i have to agree with some of the things you say, sometimes its obvious why Chelsea let him go, he is very poor positionally and will sometimes leave his winger for dead. I don't think he's as bad as a defender as you and some others sometimes make out, but he clearly isn't the best. as mentioned by someone else in the thread right wing back could definitely be the way to go with him, with maybe eventually moving him into right wing, for now he will do as a left back, as Fabio seems to get more injury's by the day and I am perfectly happy for Kelly to play right back as long as Johnson is in the team, as poor as he is defensively I dont think some people realise how our attacking play can suffer without him

Can't disagree with that. We're slow, lacking in width, skill, intelligence and everything you need to break through teams and score goals.

Honeymoon period is over for the King, and he'll know that more than anyone.

I missed the game, ended up staying on at work. Just watched the 10 minute highlights, seemed like a boring game, can someone tell me how Joe Cole did?

Glen Johnson has always been utterly **** defensively. At 26, he's not going to wake up and suddenly be capable of defending like a Premiership footballer.

I want him gone in the summer.
