We couldn't have got a tougher start....

to the season but in my mind we can still win the league.
We have already played 4 out of the 5 toughest away fixtures Chelsea, Scum, Bolton and Everton and this has made it very hard for our team to find any rhythm therefore players form has suffered. We signed six new players in the summer and with Rafas rotation policy(which i believe will pay off big time in the long term) coupled with the toughest start to the season i can remember its no wonder we are in the position we are in.
We can afford to drop 13 more points this season and that will leave us with 85 hopefully enough to win the title. The key game for us must be Arsenal at the Emirates if we can take something from that game i believe it will give us a real shot in the arm and the title can be ours. I know its early doors but with your 5 toughest games of the season under your belt so early I truly believe we can go on an amazing winning streak .

I don’t blame rotation, just think of eleven players who know each others every move what can be better than that, yes you guessed it twentytwo. Rafa will prevail but we must keep the faith. The Chavs may have all the money but we have the thirteenth man and we must be there in EVERY game. So if you want your beloved team to win the league stop sulking and start roaring them on no matter what.
I was at the Spurs game a few weeks ago and it was my first time in the Kop, well I was deeply disappointed with the atmosphere in the place before scored our first goal in the second half.
Please don’t give me the pathetic excuse that because its all seating now its not the same cos that didn’t stop me roaring on the reds from the top of my voice the same way I do and have done for the past twenty odd years in front of my telly at home in Ireland.

At the end of the day if you enter the great stadium of Anfield it is your duty to return home with your voice box in a jock.

    Stop crying and start singing.

Admire the optimism but we should not have lost to Everton and especially not to bloody Bolton. Where do people get the idea they are a decent team? They're dog **** as proven by the humbling that was dished out on Saturday by the scum.
We still have to play the Arse home and away which will be 2 very tough games.

Tough fixtures granted, trouble is we've lost the fcuking lot. Will the Mancs and Chelski do the same? I dont think so.

10 out of 10 for your optimisim though, thats the spirit.

The issue I have is, that in a season, you really cannot afford to lose more than 6 games if you are serious about challenging for the title.

So in real terms, regardless of who we have played, we have already given up 4 of our losses by the end of October.

Yes, most of the other teams we have to play other than the big we "should" beat but all teams need a bit of luck. All it takes is a bit of bad luck and we could find ourselves with 6 losses by Xmas.

We have an easier run in that most but we need to be in touch with the top 2 to capitalise on that run in.

If we are more than 10 points away by New Year, that could be a bridge too far.

A win at the Emirates would be brilliant but be honest, wouldn't most of us take a draw right now?

There is reason for optimisim, but there is a fine line between optimism and blind faith.
Are you the Judean People's Front?

Well anyone with a reasonable level of intelligence would realise the the points i have made are not lame excuses. The reality is Chav, Scum and Bolton will lose very few home games this season where as the toffs are a much improved side(who we made look better because we didn't turn up). Ok so Bolton where rolled over by the scum at the weekend but they are on the crest of a wave at the moment because of there much easier start to the season they have been able to slowly gather momentum add to that a win over a lacklustre, low on confidence Liverpool suddenly they have the belief that they can beat anyone, we need to string a few wins together away from home to get the confidence up and a point at the emirates would be good enough on current form. Obviously a win would really shake things up.

I don't do blind faith but the facts are there to give reason to be optimistic.

I agree with you. As Rafa predicted at the beginning of the season 'the team that will win the championship this year will drop more points than the previous past 2 seasons'

Have belief - its still possible!!
