    Well, I quoted you
He was released and signed a two-year contract with WBA.
Why do we pick up youth players that are not good enough for manure anyway?

We picked up the Welsh kid Calliste because we didn't have any youth forwards worth a damn at the time, but in the end he proved worse than them - it was always a stop gap.

      Intersting now we have:
Bez (Austrain youth who I don't think will make it)
Nabil (Moroccan youth who has high opinions of himself, and may make it)
Craig (who is a great pocher but is a bit slow, so probably won't make it at Liverpool (sad really))

      so....

another stirker is on the cards for the youth team
Luck - the only substitute for skill

Agreed. I liked him, very lively but probably not too suited to the English game. Scored some vital goals against Olympiakos, Betis and 2 crackers against Luton.

Id take Ponge back when his loan finishes. Always liked him and had that fighting spirit and gave his all to us.

Yep, Fowler will be let go at the end of the season, Pongolle would be an ideal fourth choice striker to have.

only thing of note Salif has done is been on the end of some racial abuse apparently

                Really? For ****'s sake.

Has he been getting a game then? I noticed they beat Norwich 5-0 at the weekend. Did he play? Saw the goals and couldn't see him anywhere, perhaps unsurprisingly.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Pongolle's doing pretty well - 3 goals in only 1 start (5 sub appearances)

Letallec - 3 games, 2 sub appearances, no goals but 3 yellow cards. Says he won't ever play for us again apparently http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?...ut+Reds+return

Yeah I remember reading that. He's a ****ing **** that kid. Don't think he has the choice to play for us ever again to be perfectly honest. I like the way he goes on about there being too many foreigners at Anfield, then moans about Rafa axing French players stopping just short of accusing him of being racist about it, only to contradict himself yet again by pointing out how he signed Momo who was born in Paris :whatever:

I think he was the worst player in the last game (or something like that)
If only we could get some money from him I`d be happy.

Why ? He's done nothing wrong, I thought he looked sharp in his last two appearances and scored a magnificent goal.

Wait until the end of the season and see how well he's doing

I don't see why he should be let go. He is capable, on a very reasonable wage, won't complain about being on the bench, or even the squad and is great for squad morale and in-keeping with the tradition and heritage of the club. The longer he is here the better!

Not for the first time this season by all accounts either. Think that was a good move, the lad's certainly getting some practice at Charlton, and at a decent level too....
