He has done very well.” Henry had a veiled dig at Dalglish’s predecessor, Roy Hodgson, when asked if there had been a change in mood since his takeover. “Absolutely, it’s all very positive,” he added. “Someone was saying that people weren’t happy here. But I think since that person left, people are happier.”

No need for that John. You're bigging up 'the Liverpool Way' and then you come out with that

One other thing in Kenny's favour is that he has come in and proved he can do it at Liverpool Football Club. He has completely changed the results of a fairly mediocre and underperforming squad to the extent that his results have been Champions League form as opposed to virtually relegation form. No one could reasonably ask for or expect more.
Football is littered with examples of previously successful managers (and players) being brought in with massive expectation and not delivering the goods for whatever reason.
Kenny has done an incredible job and to my mind there is noone anywhere who you could even close to guarantee would be better for LFC so why take the risk?

I think thats what a lot of people thought. Any average manager could have done better than Rafa when he left. Almost impossible to do worse than 7th with that squad we have The Bodge showed us otherwise.

Its obviously about results but for me its more than that, everytime Kenny gets interviewed I hang off his every short abrupt word...he gets it.

I dont see the point in risking it with a villa boas or the next big thing.....When Kenny has finished with us in 5years time, high profile managers will crawl over broken glass to be given the opportunity to manage us.

Exactly, what with the whole ship of LFC all rowing in the same direction after Dalglish coming in to steady the ship, made a few walk the plank & new cabin crew to boost morale, set sail for greatness!

I would definately wait till the summer atleast, see who's available and where they want to manage, then put Kenny alongside them and compare, and decide.

Sentiment cannot be a factor in the decision either.

The problem is, if we did that we'd be guilty of taking Dalglish for granted - which would be absolutely shameful after how well he's done.

"Is Villas Boas available? No? What about Klopp? No. Oh, ok then. Kenny - please stay. You weren't first choice, but think of the fans."

That would be disgraceful. Even if either of those two managers were available, we'd be throwing ourselves into another period of uncertainty. We NEED stability more than anything.

He should be offered the position asap. International break now. There's no better time.
