I don't watch enough of the reserves or youth teams to know who are the closest to making the step up, but there is no point in playing the likes of Poulsen, Jovanovic Spearing etc as IMO they shouldn't be here next season, even having them on the bench is denying someone else an opportunity.

I'm not suggesting putting a team of kids out, or anyone that isn't close to being ready, but we may as well give opportunities fo people to show what they can do rather than waste a spot on someone who won't be here next season.

johnson --------------- agger

3-5-2 going 4-4-2 with pouslen off for maxi second half and raul moving deeper with johnson right mid.

when carroll comes on he'll replace soto, with carra going central and johnson moving back to defense and kyut going wide.

Do you think it could be possible that substitutions, tactics etc were dependent on how the other team are set up, performance and or the score?

You never know. Spurs are 6 points away with a game in hand but they have to play 4 tough opponents (Gunners, Chavs, Cityh and us away) until the end of the season.

If we do win on Sunday and they drop a point or more against Hummers on the weekend things could really get interesting.

the one nice thing about being out of europe is that we don't have to change our tactics to suit players coming in and out of the side every few days. no more of the dr. jekyll and mr ****e back and forth, hopefully.
