I'm looking forward to this game. Especially after the dissapointing match against Braga Thursday night. We have to get back on track and we have bring back some of the play from the Man Utd game. I think Suarez is an important player at the moment. I overheard an argument wheater or not Suarez was the right man for Liverpool and the first mentioned his great performance against Man Utd where in his opponion should have been mom. The counter-argument was that he only has scored one goal in four matches and it shouldn''t even had been his goal but an own goal.

Imo Luis is more like a supporting forward but he is very great. He surely has won my heart. A true red. Torres' last games (and his games for Chelsea) he was lazy, a disappoitment, he looked like he lost the joy for the game.

If I was Kenny I would go with:

    ------------- Reina -------------

    Glen---Carra---Skrel---Wilson

    Kuyt--Meireles--Lucas--Cole

    -------Caroll----Suarez--------

The formation I've chosen for this game is a typically 4-4-2, if necessary we could go with the 3-5-2 formation with two wing backs. Good game lads unfortunately I will not be able to see the game because there is a derby in Denmark between FC Copenhagen and Brøndby IF. But I will get updated with goals and more from my iPhone app.

Think id agree with that line up but maybe Agger in, if he's fit, for Skrtel. Im doubting Carroll will start, and a bit worried Maxi will be on the left.

Wilson is not ready and atm he is a liability as LB. We would be better off playing Agger or GJ instead.

I will do that. He's a very good player. I definitely think that he would do well in Liverpool. So imo I think we should sign him plus his contract expires to summer so he would be a free-sign. And thank you. I'm very pleased to be here.

Oooh, sorry I forgot. I would have mentioned in my post that if Agger is fit he should play the match. Agger is a solid defender. Thank god Hogdson didn't sell him.

Btw, why is the 6th placed team not guaranteed a Europe league place for next season
A big ask yes, impossible no

The europa question = the winner of the carling cup gets a spot I think and it's normally one of the teams who are in the top 6 anyway. I could be wrong but I think that's the reason

It shows how **** we are when it's such a struggle to pick a decent side for tomorrow's game.

Whichever way I look at it, the lack of Steven Gerrard in midfield means we either have Meireles, Spearing or Poulson alongside Lucas in midfield. It's a horrific choice.

                      ---------Reina----------------

                      Carra Skrtel Agger Robinson

                      Johnson Lucas Spearing Kuyt

                      --------------Meireles----------
                      --------------Suarez-----------

would be the **** team I'd pick.

Kuyt can do the job he does for Holland on the left and offer Jack Robinson some protection while providing some busyness at left mid.

Johnson can provide a bit of cut and thrust at right mid. He's the most likely to be able to inject some pace into our midfield so I'd do it if possible.

Lucas and Spearing can just do the basics and give it easy while protecting the back 4. **** I know but what else do we have.

Meireles is a fart and so will play off Suarez given that I'd expect Carroll to not be fit enough for two starts in 3 days.

A poor team I admit, but like I said in the Braga thread, you get dealt a ****ty hand and you can only play a ****ty hand.

We'd have Maxi, Cole and Carroll on the bench to come on should we need to freshen things up.

Liverpool owner John W Henry will watch his side at Sunderland before confirming his long-term ideas.
Henry has torn up his original plans and met interim manager Kenny Dalglish on Friday to discuss how his relationship with director of football strategy, Damien Comolli, could work if the Scot were to be appointed full-time.

I'd be surprised if Robinson plays ahead of Wilson, and if Johnson starts in midfield
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Carroll has to start. He terrorised Sunderland earlier in the season. I'd go with this team, given who is available.

                              ---------------- Pepe ------------------

                              Carra ---- Sktrel ---- Agger ---- Johnson

                              Dirk ----- Meirees ----- Lucas ----- Maxi

                              ---------------- Suarez ----------------

                              ---------------- Carroll -----------------

That seems a good call to me.

Sunderland have lost 4 and drawn one of their last 5 games. They haven't scored for over 400 minutes either. (I believe I heard this on the radio this morning but was half asleep so forgive me if I'm wrong ).

I reckon both Carroll and Suarez will score
