Lucas Meireles
Maxi Kuyt Suarez
Carroll

That's the only other option we have available IMO

also agger is better being in the centre where carragher and skrtel can give it 5 yards to agger
without having to hoof.

Well we could have gone 4-4-2 and drop J in favor of Maxi but I guess Kenny wants to play with 2 defensive midfielders today.

We shall see but Spearing on the pitch for me is never a good thing.

I'd have preferred that line up too. We really have got a ****e squad, it hits home when you see Spearing starting and we used to talk about dropping Xabi Alonso because he wasn't in form for a while. Jeez.

Neither line up is ideal but I think, personally I think the second has more quality players and more of an attacking threat which is why I like it. Meireles should be capable and experienced enough to play that position. But obviously it's just my opinion.

I think it highlights the lack of depth in the squad at the moment, makes it even more obvious why Kenny was so keen on getting Adam in during the Jan transfer window.

I agree though, do not like seeing Spearing start, way short of the quality needed to play for LFC IMO
