    Liverpool v Steaua Bucharest
September 16, Europa League Group K

Joe Cole scored his first goal for Liverpool and David Ngog notched a brace as the Reds beat Steaua Bucharest 4-1 in the Europa League. The win meant Liverpool opened their Group K account with an important victory and also saw Hodgson become the first Reds manager in history to win his first five European games

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Who cares about the European record, he got 3 goals out of N'Gog and Cole in one match.

              A bit like Roy

Its remarkable what Kenny has done considering "nobody could do better than me with this squad"*

I think that this club is just doing what we have long wanted the return of......its business behind closed doors.
I will always blame Moores and Parry.

He's still at the club in some capacity AFAIK, he doesn't look very well though.
