You mean it was better than Roy's predictable (after being 2-nil up at home on Saturday) "if someone had offered me a draw today I would have taken it" ??

It's such a massive relief to have someone in charge who isn't excruciating. The fact everything he says is totally brilliant is an added and very welcome bonus.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

No wonder all the players have responded to Kenny. You could pick about 10 quotes a week from him that are absolute gold.

I think I'd almost forgotten how inspiring Kenny is. Lots of non LFC mates of mine have commented on how awe-inspiring he comes across. One even said "he's like Shankly!". He's immense, and obviously the contrast with his predecessor only highlights it further.

Have to admit I thought he'd gone right into his shell after leaving us. Even when he won the championship with Blackburn he didn't cut the figure he is now. Its like he's matured into some kind of Shankly (not that I was around during Shankly).

Still not a 100% sold by his formations but he's certainly won me over with his attitude. He could stand up to Demento all day long with his calmness. Can't wait until we're directly challenging manure and for the 'mind games' to begin. Like Spock challenging his Vulcan arch-rival for the main prize.
            One tit for another.

I'm part of a generation that never saw Kenny play or manage.

I, and loads of my LFC supporting mates my age, think his interviews are far from inspiring. I can barely understand him to be honest, he mumbles a lot.

Don't get me wrong though, he's obviously a legend and I couldn't give a **** how he comes across in interviews as long as we're winning games but I don't think he is obviously inspiring in interviews.

Yeah, I can believe that. A Spurs fan I know who is well into his thirties has been very disparaging about him, calling him too old, etc. You're all just ageist ****s.

I don't know why you find him hard to understand though - maybe you're not listening properly.

Of course it doesn't matter compared to results but that's a different issue.

So what does he think about the even older Redknapp?

I was brought up during the Kenny era and he has always been my Idol follwed by Ian Botham at the time , I remember an old Interview when a reporter asked him " Do you find that people cant understand you Kenny " and Kenny came back with " Pardon" and surely enough the reporter started to repeat the question until Kenny burst out laughing It was pure quality By The way I understand him fine It's Carra I have trouble with

Good point. I hadn't thought of that.

In fairness, all his interviews basically concist of him dancing around the questions asked by the journalists. He's very clever in that he manages to be polite at the same time. Inspiring? Not always, but still bloody clever.
                        Forwards.......

Seriously? Kenny's humour and sarcasm is brilliant! He inspires with Wit. Its so refreshing to have a smart intelligent manager who doesn't take 5 minutes to answer a simple question
