Something about Commolli i did'nt like, could'nt really put my finger on what, but watching that interview, i'm warming to him.

I don't see him being a disruptive influence as some have suggested he was at other clubs, seems a level headed bloke, self aware, realises what a huge club he's at, and determined to make it work, Kenny can only help this working relationship too, i can see them working together fine.

Same here. I had some doubts that he is the right man for the job but after watching an interview I'm also becoming more comfortable with him as the main man for players recruitment, signings etc.

It seems he understands what working for the club of this magnitude means and requires and I like what he said about Suarez, new potential signings that haven't capitalize yet and big and busy summer plans (I wasn't sure if it is was a slip of a tongue but he did say that it will take us only few months not years to get where we want to be which is slightly different than what John W Henry said initially).

I have to say I feel much more optimistic now and cannot wait for summer to arrive.

still dont understand what damien comollis role is at liverpool.

why not just call him director of recruitment or something instead. how is he qualified to be director of football at one of the biggest clubs in the world ?

Basically to seek out new players for the club, that is what a director of football is for, they are common everywhere but in the UK.

Well he has done it at several clubs and they have reaped success (Arsenal, Tottenham are getting success from it now).
