    Injured yesterday so irrelevant but I'd rather see a fit Steven Gerrard in the side than a Jay Spearing.

    At least with Gerrard you know he COULD change the game as he has numerous times for us where as our other options are less likely to do so.

        With the exception of Reina and probably Lucas, none of our squad could say they've performed consistently well in 2 years. So let's just drop them all and play Reina & Lucas in a 2-man team, yeah?

        An under-par Gerrard is still better than most other players, because he's just that good. Barring the odd exception, everybody disagrees with you - as i've said in the past, that tells a story.
