those who want maureen just want one or two more league championships

the problem with him is that when he is gone what happens.

so if all you want is a couple more then great get him but dont cry afterwards when you need to rebuild again.

he is very short term there are benefits to that but there are downsides too.

Sure there are some doubts about his managerial skills as he was away from football management for almost 20 years but he has done imo very well so far with the thin and inadequate squad.

He deserves the chance to prove that he can take us where we belong and for me it is only Kenny.

The only doubt I have about KK is that he hasn't showed at all that he can succeed in Europe. We didn't play in Europe because of the ban after Heysel and he flopped with Blackburn in Europe.

The best manager we can get when it comes down to the PL. Europe, who knows? Time will tell.

Based on experience, stats and recent achievements, who is more likely to lift the title with LFC ? Obviously Mourinho.

I am not saying that we CANT win the league with Kenny, just that we'd be more likely with Mourinho.

He went beyond Porto's wildest expectations. He was sacked by Chelsea. He won Inter the treble and left a hero.

He has won the league at every club he has been at. He's the best manager in the game.

          You're wrong.

You forgot the half a billion pounds net or so he spent doing it.

None of that changes the fact he'd be gone after 2 years or so, so I'm not sure what you're saying "you're wrong" on.

You talk asif Kenny is a ****ing idiot. The latest in a long line of disrespectful ****e you're writing about him. I preferred it when you're were the loser who went around correcting grammar errors.

I wonder if Rafa would have won the PL with us if he would have had the money to buy.....

Alves, Aguero, Vidic, Malouda, Pato, Evra, Jovetic etc.....

Most probably and he would have spent much less than Mourinho doing it. Money talks. Money wins you trophies.

I was waiting to see if you'd spot that bizarre comment.

People always talk about the megabucks Mourinho has had, and yes of course it helps, but City are showing that it doesnt necessarily equate to success. And when discussing the money, people also tend to forget or ignore the immense pressure and expectation that come with it. Yeah, he gets bucketloads to spend - he also gets a remit of 'win the league or **** off'. It aint that easy though, plenty of teams can spend bucketloads, but there can still only be one champion.

I would take Kenny, simply because he's proven, he's one of us and ingrained into the fabric of the club, he represents stability and simply, i believe he's the best man for the role.

I think the point is you may not get more with maureen so maybe winning one or two is what you want

                            others want more sustainable success

so am i right in thinking you would go for 2 in the next five years over say

                            5 in the next 10?

obviously the examples are hypothetical but they do illustrate the point i am making.

He is a very good manager but you cannot deny the timing of him moves to other clubs and the backing he got at every single one since Porto days.

There are other managers out there that could have done exceptionally well as him if they would have found themselves in his shoes and his circumstances.

Also as Marsh and few others pointed out he's a short term fix if he would ever come.

We need someone to run this club long term and build the long lasting legacy and he ain't it.

Of course he will paint it out like he love Chelsea, Inter and Real but if you look at how he took care of them only thinking short term then you will discover that in real life he don't give a **** about them.
