I know Cluxton through friends, he's a passionate guy & can handle himself well.

McAteer obviously upset him with a stupid tackle that could have harmed his season with Dublin, who are on a magnificent roll at the moment. He let McAteer know what he thought of his stupid tackle, McAteer, his usual self, gave Cluxton a mouthful & got a mouthful for his trouble.
Fair play to Bernard for twitting that message, sticking up for one of his own.

I'm pretty sure Cluxton would be smarting at the fact he got headlines at a charity game for the wrong reasons but he won't hold back on any insults he finds derogatory.

In the hustle & bustle of Gaelic football, ya gotta be strong & stand your ground or be found out...
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Yeah, passionate guy who punches people in the face during a charity match. Amazing all the people in this thread showing their pride at someone from Dublin punching someone

And the bit in bold means that you basically agree that he should be punching fellow footballers in the face because they say something to upset the poor soul. It's a shame he didn't get banned for the rest of his wonderful season but hey I guess when nobody wants to turn up for a charity match because of potentially being assualted the charity will understand!

yeah, thats right...tar all of us with the same brush!
We're all just as bad as each other! ****ing pot calling kettle black scenario again!

No, I don't condone what he did in front of kids & families. I know he would be a feeling a little ashamed of himself as he's revered in the gaelic communities here in the Dublin scene cos he's such a brilliant goalkeeper.

I'm only supporting him in the face of criticism of what happened as McAteer is portraying himself as the innocent one when he's far from it!

Not that I was paying much attention, that article paints a very different view from McAteer from when he was on LFC TV yesterday. He was laughing about the embarrassment of the incident but was also very disappointed at his involvement and was quite sorry how it turned out for both parties. He was nowhere near as bitter as that article portrays.

Can anyone confirm this, as I only had it on in the background?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
