Not that I was paying much attention, that article paints a very different view from McAteer from when he was on LFC TV yesterday. He was laughing about the embarrassment of the incident but was also very disappointed at his involvement and was quite sorry how it turned out for both parties. He was nowhere near as bitter as that article portrays.

Can anyone confirm this, as I only had it on in the background?

Isn't McAteer from a family that has a boxing background, therefore it's probably not that big a deal to him? I'd imagine he might be embarassed that he didn't duck though..
