    RIP Jan Fairclough: YNWA

    RIP Jan Fairclough: YNWA
    9th Apr 2011 - Latest News

Liverpool Football Club would tonight like to pay tribute to Jan Fairclough, who tragically died today.

Wife of David, scorer of one of Anfield's most iconic goals, and mother of LFC TV presenter Sophie, Jan collapsed on Wednesday morning after suffering a brain aneurysm and sunk into a coma that she never recovered from.

Jan was not only a beautiful woman, she was a great mother and supporter of Liverpool FC and the Club's TV channel, LFC TV, where her husband and daughter both work.

Ian Ayre, Liverpool FC Managing Director, said: "Everyone at the Club who knew David and Jan are devastated by this news. David and Jan were inseparable and our thoughts tonight are with David and his children Sophie and Tom and their extended family."

Awful indeed. David had a heart wobbly last year, didn't he? The kids must be....

                I really can't believe this.

Fairclough was up at Villa Park with LFC TV for the reserves games last Monday night...two days later his Wife has a brain aneurysm and 3 days after that she's dead

                So sad.
