I'm just going by what the team has been doing before scoring. Its pretty much never from crosses. But yes Brendan likes that style and it could be useful if we could get alittle better in those areas.

On a side note about what Brendan prefers, he also doesnt think Alberto or Aspas are good enough to start or feature majority of the time. Some people on here think they should both be starting, which is also going against what hes been doing. I've made it no secret I believe both should be sold. Not everyone believes everything Brendan does is 100% right

That's pretty much agreeing with me though. Flanno isn't good enough offensively.

I agree about Aspas but I'll reserve judgement on Alberto for another season, but your probably right.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Perhaps having the wingbacks getting forwards is drawing players towards them, therefore freeing up the space for the pass down the middle.

Without the wingbacks attracting the defender over, would the through ball down the middle be half as successful?

I've only just realised Flanagan didn't get a call up for the U21's.

          Who have they chosen instead??

            Naughton I think.

Edit. Just realised that he's 25.
            Are we winning?

Robinson Wisdom didn't get in either.

                I thought Wisdom was captain?!

Yeah he is/was, I don't know why he wasn't called up either, he's supposed to be brilliant for Derby this year.

                    Isn't Wisdom still banned?
Got 4 games for his sending off didn't he??

I'm more concerned about the space he leaves in behind him and how slow he is to get back in that situation.

I thought he was better on the left hand side personally. And as I much prefer GJ on his natural foot, Flannagan should play on the left again
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Up there with his Arsenal debut.

                              Flanno.

31 points from 33 in his last 11 games.

Who wanted him dropped for Cissohko????
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

a great game from him, lots of guts and determination.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
