I think this rule dates back to the time when there was the Cup Winners Cup.
Ah interesting, i didnt realise that.

I've just flew back home from a fantastic night at Anfield...

What a preformance from our lads - that young lad Flanagan at RB was immense, he never gave Milner a sight at the ball - a real star in the making, a la Martin Kelly.

For me he was man of the match.

El Pistolero is in a league of his own. When you see the shape of Citeh's strike force, we have a little gem on our hands here... The Kop absolutely love him - his name was being sung from the Kop almost constantly...

Fantastic night to be in L4...

Had some contact with a few City mates this morning and there's a real LFC-MCFC love in going on ...obviously unified by our common enemy and their big game on Saturday. I said to a few of them "every LFC fan is City on Saturday" and they're all replying with stuff like "always had a soft spot for LFC, always want you to do well"

I just don't see the point in criticising kids for being kids.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

                Oh you and your ways

As i said mate, it was meant more as a 'what a shame if something as basic as timekeeping...' than a 'you stupid little feckers' kind of post...

FLMAO I wish those that use to inhabit the Kippax Stand in the 70's & early 80's had felt the same way

Dunno, lots of em very sombre here. Can tell one of em is ready to hit me. Keeps going really red & quiet & saying nowt. Looks like he's ready to explode.
                        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Savage performance last night, personally for me that was the best performance by us for a long long time and I'm talking years.

                          We were very good.

Defence were good, we were positive. Passing was crisp and accurate, movement from everyone in particular the midfield and forward line was fantastic.

We were strong in the tackle, loads of bite and kept our discipline extremely well.

Most of all we played as a team and we had plenty of team spirit. I was very impressed and I last night I fell back in love with the team.

The crowd last night were also excellent and the support for the team and manager was one of the best I've heard for some time.

                          Some more of that please.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
