I thought the two young full backs did well, I thought Spearing and Lucas were great again (yes I know Spearing gave away the pen).

When are we going to get some luck with injuries though? BTW what's the news on the injuries picked up back Carragher, Aurelio and Carroll?
It's OK mate I think the Spearing boo boys are on holiday at present or just lying in wait for the lad to put a foot out of place and stick the boot into him

Perhaps he's changing his method because it hasn't been as successful recently.

Think Carra needs to have another check-up on his noggin

I know how he probably wants it to mean, but it reads a different way

CARRAGHER FINE AFTER CLASH OF HEADS

Liverpool captain Jamie Carragher declared himself "absolutely fine" after being knocked out during a dramatic 1-1 draw at Arsenal.

There was a lengthy delay in the second half when Carragher was left unconscious after a clash of heads with youngster John Flanagan.

The former England defender was eventually carried off on a stretcher, his neck in a brace, and given oxygen.

However, after treatment at the Emirates Stadium, the veteran Reds centre-half had recovered enough to run onto the pitch at the final whistle to celebrate a dramatic draw when Dirk Kuyt slotted home a last-gasp penalty just moments after Robin van Persie's spot-kick deep into eight minutes of stoppage time looked to have won it for the Gunners.

"I can't remember anything. As soon as I came round I was absolutely fine," the 33-year-old said.

"It was a little clash of heads and these things happen in football.

"The main thing was to get the three points.

"I watched their penalty in the dressing room and then saw that we got our own.

"I was just praying that we scored because to get four points out of six from the last two games is fantastic.

"I went out onto the pitch at the end because I wanted to celebrate with the lads."

Carragher added: "Some of the players we had out there, because of the injuries we had, still qualify for the youth team so it was a really good team performance."
"I will make the boys feel your support"

Being Raul's 1st season & considering the amount of games he has played, i think he has done well for us; look at chamakh for instance, cost a shed load of money & he has been benched with fatigue since Dec....

But no-one could have done a better job than Hodgson... which means we're about to pick up no more than a point from our next 7 games
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                      Chamakh was a "Free" transfer

But considering it's his first season Raul has done really well. But having said that, I expect much better from him next season. atm I struggle to see where he could nail down a regular spot in a title challenging team, but I think that is the problem with many of us on here.

I think too many of us fail to see that todays game is no longer about numbers 1-11, it is now a squad game. A good team can win a cup, but it's a good squad that will win the league.

Have a look at the squads of teams who have won the league. Is the likes of Meireles and Spearing good enough to at the very least be a squad player for us? Of course they are.

Sine Kenny has come in the likes of Konk, Jovanovic, Cole and Poulsen have done pretty much nothing. I could probably add Ngog to that list as well. Replace those five with similar, but better, players and then we start to have the makings of a very good squad.
                      Forwards.......

                        Different class.

The only sad thing is that the defeats under Kenny have come at the hands of Blackpool, West Ham and West Brom. Though in fairness Blackpool was early doors and West Brom coincided with picking up major injuries and disrupting the team.

Considering how much I respected Wenger his post match comments left me very disappointed. What a bitter ******* he is turing into in his old age.

His team simply do not deserve to win the league, and as much as it galls me to say it, the Scum have easily been the most consistent yet again and will win it.

The old adage of the league table doesn't lie always comes into play at the end of the season. Teams finish where they deserve to and that is very likely going to mean Man Utd winning it. Arsenal will be lucky to come 2nd after throwing away the points in such dramatic circumstances. And they can count themselves lucky to have got a point, as had Suarez had one of his better days they'd have ended up with nothing.

It must be so frustrating being an Arsenal fan. They pass so much on the edge of the box with no real guile and quality. For all the passing they created only one or two real openings. Pepe was very alert yesterday but made only one save in which stood out as such, the one from RVP.

Then I look at us, and for me Suarez could have had a hat trick.
