    Amazingly I agree.

Me too, I loathe him but he's been pretty decent for the last two games. Spurs-Real Madrid was an absolute disaster for the bloke

        No way lads......he is awful.
Has to comment on everything the other fella says, and I mean everything. Just because he isn't pals with our lads and talking about them like he's meeting up with them later, doesn't mean he's improved.
The way he goes on like he needs to explain everything that everyone just saw like we're some kind of idiots is unbelievably patronizing............I seriously doubt Sky have handed him a mandate to commentate with a view towards blind viewers who have tuned in for a match (admirable though that would be).

Voice is annoying, he doesn't engage anyone with his insight (which he feels he needs to share even when if the main fella says something simple).........I honestly think he's being paid by the word now, he has to be.

        Terrible.
Now if he wants to tell us what its like to be sent off for his country at a World Cup, then I'm all ears.........until then, keep at least some of your opinions to yourself Ray

Sam Allardyce has blasted the conduct of Arsene Wenger - and says the Arsenal boss is a big reason for his tag as a long-ball merchant.

The former Blackburn has often clashed with the Frenchman over the years and he reckons he has missed out on the chance of a top job due to being unfairly criticised by the likes of Wenger.

“The tag attached to myself you just can't get rid of it once it’s there,” said Allardyce, speaking to Keys & Gray. “And it wasn’t done by the media, it was done by fellow managers. That was the disappointing thing.

“It wasn’t disappointing when we kept beating them but it was disappointing that they didn't have the courtesy to give us the credit that we deserved."

Allardyce says Wenger was one of the main culprits and has accused him of being rude following his spat with Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish on Sunday.

“I don’t know him well enough to like him or dislike him but I think his own self-importance takes him into an area where he can become rude with what he does, in terms of ignoring you and ignoring what you do," he added.

"For instance, he's not shaken my hand in the past and walked straight down the tunnel because he's frustrated with one thing or another. For me, that just isn’t right.

"This country does its football this way. They are unwritten rules I know but, if you’re going to work in this country, it's courteous to shake hands."

Even more ironic (or in Sams case moronic) is criticising someone for their "own self importance" this coming from the self styled "good enough to manage Real Madrid" manager
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Which is a bit stupid when you think he will be a foreign manager one day when he is at Real Madrid

                      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

He was going to call him Jay Shelvey, i think - and then realised.

So it became Jay Shi...eh, Spearing.

The cunt always has to make it nationalistic, doesnt he? It always has to be about 'this country' and 'our game' and 'our league' etc. Utter cunt, and one of the typical Keys and Gray club.

Don't ask me why but I listened to a bit of that Allardyce interview on the Talksport website and he also mentions Rafa. Talking about Wenger and how he doesn't do the whole 'glass of red wine' bull**** and says "same with my other mate", to which a giggling Keys says "Rafa Benitez?". Allardyce replied, sniggering, "Aye, him, I used to love playing against him, it were great"

Right. He got the odd result in Rafa's early days when he was at Bolton, but most of the time we battered his teams, no? That's how it seemed anyway.

He went on to mention an 'incident' when he basically says he was in Rafa's office with Sammy Lee, Rafa thought Fat Sam had gone and stuck his head round the door. "I won't tell you what he said, I'll keep that to myself, but let's just say he didn't stick around for long....and that was in his own office!!!1"...cue more sniggering from the three of them.
