    Useful at what exactly?

Can all these Glen Johnson fans actually tell me what he's actually good at?

      Right Back

No other way to say it really. I think he's a top RB, you don't.

He's not a bad left back either. But agree he's probably a better right back.

No. Of course we don't actually tout players round other clubs, but if we get an offer for a player, almost any player, it will be entertained if it's mega money. I don't think Comolli has an issue with selling and replacing players if the financials and scouting suggest it's beneficial.

Johnson could be one of those players if we were offered say 17m for him (we clearly overpaid and he's a couple of years older now).

Yep, Kenny speaks extremely highly of him so it wont be happening anyway thankfully. Quality, quality player.

With regards to Kenny speaking highly of Johnson, he spoke highly of Torres - work-rate etc before he left, didn't stop him selling him, did it?

Kenny also praised Joe Cole a month or two ago, has it stopped him benching Cole every game?

Kenny has also sang the praises of Aquilani, when we all know it's just a ploy to get Juve to put up or shut up.

If a good £10m-£12m bid is put in for Johnson, i reckon Kenny will accept it and off he goes.

Yeah thats right, Torres didnt want to go but Kenny forced him out. Nothing to do with Torres putting in a transfer request or anything. Awful comparison but I expect nothing less!

And you know that Johnson wouldn't want to leave?

Didn't put up much of a fight though, did he?
At the end of the day, Kenny could have told Chelsea to get ****ed, Torres is staying til the summer at least but he thought we can do without Torres.

Basically, Kenny will get everyone on side, make sure everyone's pulling in the same direction and all that lark, but he'll also be ruthless when required.(and rightly so)

Another pointless question from my stalker. Yes.

Why would he? We need players challenging for first team spots and have at least 2 viable options for each and every position.

Just curious but who do you think we can get for that kind of money?

Didnt he? He said he'd done everything in his power to convince him to stay and there were also reports of meetings lasting in to the early hours at Melwood trying to get him to change his mind. Then we rinsed Chelsea for every penny right up until deadline day. I'd say we put up a fight personally but players generally get their way and he got his.

Indeed, and unfortunately for you, Johnson, Meireles and Gerrard will be staying.

It would obviously be used for new players - likes of Gary Cahill, A.Young...these kind of players that we're strongly linked with. Among others.

I would understand the concern of selling Johnson if we didn't have Kelly and Flanagan at the Club, but we do.
