    Conor Coady

Was on the bench for the first team vs Birmingham for the first time(?). Surely the perfect time to get him a run with us 4-0 up at home?

I think he will get his chance next season.

Surely you can't do a lot wrong in 5 or 10 minutes with your team in that position. Would it not have given him a taste to get him to push even harder for the whole pre season

As much as JWH criticised the lack of depth in our squad when FSG took over, I expect him to also show some appreciation for the serious groundwork Rafa done with the youth set-up.

We have to trust Kenny that he made the right decision. He said that Cole, Ngog and Jonjo were training very hard this past week on that basis rightfully deserved the chance to play few minutes.

When it comes to Coady or any other youngster, you can probably expect to see them get some playing time in the last game against Villa especially if that game turns out to have no meaning.

That's quite enough experience gained for one day. Dalglish knows what he's doing.

You, on the other hand, don't.
                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I suspect that he never planned to play him just give him the experience of the match day routine and atmosphere, to give him a little encouragement but not his debut.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                    I'm sure that's right.

I don't think he could have overlooked Ngog and Cole, only for morale purposes.

It'll be an experience for Coady to be involved in the first-team set up during match day. Also, Coady has got a future - for Cole & Wash, its put them in the shop window for a summer transfer.
