Confirmation at last that Craig doesn't even know what day it is.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Kenny will play with 3 mid-fielders so if Carroll is back and he starts, I don't think there is a place for Maxi regardless of his hat trick on Saturday.

Personally the only way Maxi starts is if Kuyt gets the rest, which is not unthinkable but unlikely.

Anyways it is finally nice to have Kenny in this type of a situation..

I guess it depends how fit he is? If he isn't fit enough to play a full 90 mins I'd put him on the bench and bring him on for at least 30mins in the second half.

I think the problem he had when he joins means that he needs time but not to be pushed too much, the latest injury I don't think we should rush back. Obviously he'll want to play against his former club. I suspect he's the type of player who wants to carry on playing after picking up a knock, so it could be difficult to manage his injuries. But like you I know nothing

Like you, I don't see him being 100% fit this season, next season we should see the real Andy Carroll, hopefully he'll prove to be a great signing

Anything this season is a bonus IMO, that's the view I've held since he came into the side.

Kevin Nolan is eager for Andy Carroll to line up for Liverpool against Newcastle next weekend, so that he can kick him.

Carroll is expected to line up against his boyhood club for the first time since being sold in January, despite sitting out of Saturday's 5-0 thrashing of Birmingham City on Saturday with the knee problem sustained against Arsenal six days earlier.

Magpies captain Nolan is a lifelong Reds fan and hopes that his former team mate will be available for next Sunday's showdown at Anfield but also fears the impact that Carroll can possess to Alan Pardew's side if selected.

“The big man missed out because of an injury, and he doesn’t know how long he will be out. “Hopefully, he’ll be back so I can kick him!” Nolan told the Shields Gazette.

“I don’t know if I want him to play or not. I do so I can kick him, but I don’t want to him to play because of the threat he can pose.

“He’s clicking into gear, and he’ll be desperate to play against us. You will see the best of him next year.”

                            I'm assuming that's a joke, but it's a stupid thing to say

But if he commits a bad foul on Carroll having said that it, whether he meant it or not people will think it was deliberate
