15 games since he came back and 30 points - 2 pts per game average, across the whole season, this would have us on 70 points so far - same as Chelsea, and 3 points off the top.

FFS, i wish Hodgson had never existed.

If we get the right players in this summer, then i see no reason why we can't challenge for the league.

United, Chelsea, Arsenal and City are strong sides in there own right, but not one of them has been pulling up trees in recent seasons.

Relax mate. His average will be higher next season. We will win the PL next season with Kenny at the helm and sufficient financial backing from the owners

Next season will be harder IMO. The maximum the winners can get this year is 82 pts which equals 2.157 points per game. I think the average for whoever wins it next year will be higher, about 2.3 or so.

Not so sure it will require a higher average next year. Like it or not there are 6 major teams next season (the top 6 as it stands today). The key to winning the PL next season will ensuring you maximise the points you take aganst the other 5 teams in the top 6. Kenny has already proved he has a canny knack of doing this

Not sure Spurs will be any good next year. I think they will have a major down on not being in CL.

Although I agree that I think the days of 85pts+ are gone> and can see similar totals of this year winning it
