WTF was up with Carroll? It was as if he didn't want to go near the Newcastle defenders, or he thougt he was supposed to be playing CM because it was as if he didn't want to go up top... It seemed like he didn't want to be there because it was vs Newcastle.
Also, I thought Flano didn't have a great game, probably good for him to be back on the bench for a bit like Robinson now.
Good enough. Thing is when we come up against a team as poor as that we don't really need to bust a gut to get the result. although we were average it was enough to dispatch them.

I thought Carroll was a bit quite and didn't look interested in getting up top, Although he has just come back from injury so i will give him the benefit of the doubt.

You're overreacting - the last 20(when Carroll) was a non event, there was next to nothing happening anywhere on the pitch nevermind in the final third, hence Carroll received damn all service throughout the time he was on.
