Okay, Maybe complaining is a bit strong, but pointing out Suarez needs to improve his game doesn't seem right to me today, he's a touch of brilliance for me, doesn't all ways come off but what great control and vision, must be a joy for Dirk to play alongside, and when Gerrard returns...wow

I have to agree with you. I actually think it's the other way round, it's the rest of the team that needs to improve. Well that's probably a bit harsh. What they need to do is to get up to speed with him and to be honest, next season they will be, or they will be certainly closer to him, to his way of thinking.

Watching from the stands you could see what he was trying to do but unfortunately the rest of the team weren't always on his wavelength, but as I said, it will come and when it does some of the football we will play will be absolutely sublime

Didn't realise the third goal involved a bit of a lucky deflection on it's way through to Kuyt. Couldn't see from my point, just looked like a superb flowing move, still good movement by Suarez to be in the right place for Kuyt's pass.

I think the Suarez - Kuyt partnership is great, they must be real handful to defend against, constantly harassing the defence all game.

Maxi has done well lately but for me he has never been consistent enough to be a regular starter. He responded well to being left out and I'd say he should be kept around as a squad player though.

Suarez was the usual handful he always is. He really loves to be on the ball and its great to see someone as confident and determined on the ball. Great performance from him and Lucas. Nice to see us get a clean sheet too, that was important.

SUarez is a breath of fresh air for sure and fast becoming one of my favourite players, but sad to say canty compate it with Torres when he first came, every time he got the balll when he first came to us, you knew a goal was sure to follow.

I think Suarez is a more well rounded player than Torres and plays in a position that requires you to be. Torres plays off the shoulder of defenders and when it comes to doing that there's hardly anybody better. His finishing and strikers instinct is better than Suarez. I'd say in Suarez's position there is not many better at what he does either. The impact may not be the same but Suarez has shown so much more to his game than just scoring goals. Thats why i'd be inclined to say I'm more excited about Suarez.

Its great having a player like Suarez who is prepared to run at defenders - for too long, we've been way too static in this area making it easy for teams to close us down in the final third.

Excellent result. Moment of the match for me was when Carragher had a chat with Flanagan after Flanagan had picked up yellow card and made another foul.

I hope that Maxi will get the chance from the start in the next game because he deserves it. We shouldn't play Carroll simply because he is Carroll. No reason to bench a player in great form and change a winning team.

Lucas yet again bossed the midfield. Is he now the best defensive midfielder in the league? He bosses the midfield in game after game. Lucas
