    Fulham Build up (away)

So, do we go with the same X1 or do we bring Carroll in to start? Personally I'd have him on the bench to start.

2nd ? is the fullbacks? Johnson at LB or RB with Flano right or Robinson left ?

Are there any injury concerns and are any of the crocks due back ?

I've not seen Fulham play for ages but they seem to have found some form lately.

    Thoughts ?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Carroll for Meireles would be the only change i'd make.

not going to be easy this one, I'd be happy to see Carroll come in for this, holding the ball up will be quite handy in this game I think

This is going to be a tough game, Fulham have a really good home record this season.

****ing hell, you've got a cheek after that massive tantrum on sunday morning about not changing a winning team!

"Common sense would be to keep a winning team." amongst many other moans.

Funny how you change your tune regarding certain players.

Carroll looked way short of fitness IMO and I'd be surprised if he started, and as Rudo has said in the past, why change a winning team?

Raul is an important part in the speed of our play so I see no need to drop him TBH.

That was off the back of a 5-0 win and a brilliant team performance. Sunday was a fairly average performance and 3-0 flattered us and Meireles was very poor imo.

Furthermore this is an away game against an energetic and in form Fulham side hence i would leave Meireles out and bring in Carroll - someone who can hold the ball up and take the pressure off.

I understand that bit but he really looked ****e against his old side. Maybe he was only half interested in beating them and was just going through the motions but he really looked bad IMO.

Keep the same eleven, we shouldn't break up the Kuyt/Suarez partnership. Currently we don't have the supply lines for Carroll and have to put square pegs in round holes to accommodate him (Meireles left wing.)

Massively important before next season to get some more away wins, 4 all season is unacceptable. This would give us the confidence to really kick on next season.

I think Hangeland would prefer to play against a more direct Carroll than having Suarez/Kuyt/Maxi all dragging him out of position.

Hopefully be a different matter next season when Carroll is fit and has a bit more movement.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I'd wait until the 60th minute to bring on Carroll if things aren't working out.

Fulham are very disciplined but the movement of our players is excellent at the moment.

I'd substitute Rush for Aldridge, for his aerial ability. Other than that, that list is pretty sound

Carroll didn't look fit in the last game, so I think that he should be on the bench again, which means going with the same starting 11 so Johnson at LB and Flanagan at RB
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Will be a tough game at Fulham, they are on a good run and Craven Cottage is hard at the best of times.

Would bring Carroll in, probably for Maxi. Carroll will be useful away from home as he will hold the ball up allowing the midfield time to support him. Maxi doesn't offer as much when we are away, better suited to home games where we set the tempo of the match
