Something else to add to my magnum opus above: I don't think Suarez quite fits in to the system Rodgers wants to play. Rodgers seems to like a striker with pace who can offer a threat playing off the shoulder (forcing defences to sit a little deeper). Suarez plays as a striker right now because he's just so ****ing good. But it would be interesting to see how he would line up this season with a fully fit Sturridge available. He'd quite possibly be played on the wing, and to be honest, I don't think we'd get the best out of him in that position. Food for thought.

I kinda agree with that bit in bold. I have not felt any emotional connection with any footballer since Torres, and I think it's pretty unlikely that I ever will again.
