Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

What about Alonso's penalty to make it 3-3 in Istanbul? I think I jumped on someone and both nearly went out the window.

The following year game, I actually cried when they made it 3-3.

I haven't cried about football (or, er, indeed anything else ) since Charlie George scored that f*cking goal.

Although I was in a state of shock when Michael Thomas scored that f*cking goal.

Uruguay-Japan is coming. Sources close to Luis Suarez (played in 1 hour) also confirm the decision to stay at Liverpool.

                    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Apparently every time Liverpool score I shout

                      'Wheyyyyy'

I didnt realise I was doing this, but Mrs Alex says she can tell whenever we score
                      *Except Michael, who died.

Actually, when a goal is cheered in the stadium what do people actually shout? Is it YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

With the news that he is staying it is absolutely imperative that we sign a top class defender and hopefully someone of Prince Willian's ability. Then we can really push for fourth.

I like to imitate an old Cameroonian celebration which mimics the eating of grass.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I cried at the Michael Thomas goal whilst my gran - who was babysitting us that night tried to be helpful by saying "it's only men kicking a football around the pitch" and laughing uncontrollably.
