I think Johnson has the all the attributes, physical, technique, footballing brain. Just lacks the consistency. Certainly has flashes of world-class.

re suarez - if we are in the mix in January, he won't be going anywhere - no chance

if we had a nightmare first half of the season and we were sitting 12th - then yeah he'd be pushing for the move.

but if we are competing at the top end like we currently are, then no way.

if we make champs league, and he still wants to go well **** him - we'd be in a better position to ask for more, and also in a better position to sign quality players

That link to Real really comes at a weird time doesn't it. We've played what? 6 games, we sit in the top 4 & he's just returned with 2 goals. Baffling timing IMO.

Left early for his holidays etc

Still.....I like Glen, so it'll be good to get him back in the side once fit as when he's on his game, we look far more dangerous.

I think modern fullback is one of the hardest positions to play.
