Hope people quit with the "sell him" stuff now. Tonight is what happens when you surround him with another genius. Awful for Kenny that he's barely had the chance to use them together.

Luis' best game in a while. Looked really up for it from the go.

Outstanding tonight, quality players don't need long to form an understanding. A real shame him and Suarez haven't had more playing time together.

We need to build a team around him and Gerrard, not sell him, that would be incredibly stupid. He's a genius and with a quality finisher and someone to link up with this team can go places.

Add a quality left sided player and a striker, we'll be fantastic.

Yep, think people should take that in to account when hammering Kenny aswell. Yeah the money could have been spent better to make their losses less damaging to the team but when Kenny took over we were considered a two man team, one ****ed off straight away and he's barely had a chance to use the other one, a luxury the last 2 long term managers had. Suarez makes up for Torres but we need Gerrard fit all the time.

Not having these two playing together has harmed our season no end.

I still think all the ****e the whole club had to deal with had an adverse effect
on eveyone as well, death threats, abuse..media intrusion was at an all time high.

I'm pretty hopeful for next season if we can keep all the better players we have and add some quality.

When he plays like that it is hard to make any case against him. Perhaps the Michael Cox piece is the heart of it - he needs to feel other people around him could step up, as Gerrard did against Everton.
