Maybe he was carrying an injury or something, but did anyone else think
he looked a little slower/more laboured in his play? Still did well
but seemed to lack that explosive power imo.

I read that he was ill before the palace game but still played - weren't the doctors out on the pitch with him before KO?

He was and so was I. Had several chances to feed it into his feet and let him turn and run at them, but they never once gave it him FFS.

You can even argue that technically, the ball was just about stopped just as he hit it despite that being Sky's initial reasoning for the disallowed goal. Only for Dowd was talking to one of the opposition was that ruled out.
