If i was sure we could attract 2 or 3 top draw players for the sale fee i'd accept the idea of letting him go if he says he wants to. I can't see us doing that though.

Oh FFS another summer of this ****e. :headbang:
Real better try and do this fast and then **** off rather than play this **** all summer like previous targets. If they don't match our valuation in 2 weeks of starting this laborious process then we should not deal with them. Make it clear they have 2 weeks to do it or we don't speak to them about it. Not worried in the slightest, we have champions league football and are genuine title contenders everything which Suarez wanted, new contract signed last year I personally don't think he's going anywhere. Couldn't give the tiniest **** what garbage Marca are sayingKurtangled in the McFadden thread 16/01/08

I'd imagine it would be more along the lines of a straight **** off unless they meet the buyout.Oh FFS another summer of this ****e. :headbang:

In which case we wouldn't have much choice, it would be down to Suarez.Comment

Is there a young, potential Llallana out there? Looks we also need to find proper scouts. Are we winning?Comment

Exactly, they are only doing what we are on a larger scale.
This Suarez thing begs the question though. What would represent good value for the club in this case? I personally feel anything less than £100m is pointless for us to consider. We would need probably £50m of that to go and buy someone of the same sort of standard as Suarez. But I dont think we would do that.
Losing Suarez could fundamentally change the way we play, so a few more players would be needed to support that change.
Given the emergence of Sterling and Sturridge over the last 12 months, I dont think we would be in as bad a position as some think. But losing him would be a massive hole to fill.*Except Michael, who died.Comment
(without the add ons - to be negotiated! - 1mill every 10 games he plays, 1mill for every game he plays and scores in. 1mill for every game they win. etc etc!)
