We'll never replace his genius. He's amongst the top 2/3 best players in world football. We may do good business financially, but footballing wise, he's irreplaceable.

Not saying we won't rebuild without him, but it'll set us back initially. No wonder we were so firm not letting him go last season.

Fifa have no ability to ban him from club football, same way the fa ban didn't apply to international football. The media are trying to cause a big enough **** storm so that Fifa throw the book at him but they are limited by their own rules which are very specific. If he gets an international ban it's great for us and may make him wise up because playing for Uruguay means more to him than any other football related malarky.
