Suarez case has potential to develop. Imagine if gets hefty ban, appeals, plays v Colombia, gets goals that win game. FIFA don't need that
I'd love it if he played in the next game

Get rid! The bloke has had too many chances here already and needs to become somebody else's problem child. The club will always be bigger than an individual, especially one who clearly doesn't give a jot about the club (wanting to leave last season, failing to follow instructions re Evra, biting Ivanovic). I find him a bit tedious now, goals or no goals. Why should he get away with this and be welcomed back with open arms? I don't understand the logic behind that.

He won't, there won't be a right of appeal if under 2 months I think. They will likely do an immediate ban and then open another long term case if they are thinking of more than match bans (which I doubt)

And that said I wouldn't in any way love if he played the next game, he derserves to be banned for the rest of the tournament.

What does he expect though, a pat on the head or a kiss on the cheek?

Really? I hope he's banned for the rest of the tournament and Uruguay crash out in the next round.

Firstly we can get him back home safely and secondly it might make him wise up that his actions cost other people close to him (i.e. it would effectively cost his country a chance at winning the world cup). That might make him grow up a bit.

How long does six games cover? Two months?

He does but why are you arsed? I'd find the righteous indignation and pure FUME ****ing amazing if he played the next game. I want him to appeal, play the next game, score, send Uruguay through and boil the piss of an entire planet

Do you not think that would only be a detriment to his mentality though?

That would be totally getting away with any punishment for unacceptable behaviour.

So just give up on that and let him carry on?

Do you not believe in rehabilitation?

Also technically boats don't sail, ships do*.

It wouldn't if he just delayed the inevitable by appealing, but I'm not bothered either way. I just want him to get help. Sure, he deserves punishment too but I'm not remotely arsed so long as it doesn't affect us. All I want is for him get his head right because it clearly isn't.
