As for Sanchez - he's not just a striker is he?
He's not a striker full stop. He's a very, very good player. But he's no replacement for Suarez.

Would I rather have Suarez for 29 games a season or Sanchez for 38? Suarez every time.

I'd rather have a team that crushes everyone and isn't overly reliable on a nutter individual. Much as I've jumped off coaches and shaken my head in disbelief at what he can do...

And he's one of us. We've always supported and stood by our own. We should be doing it again. And before anyone jumps in with the whole 'how can you defend his actions' bollocks - Thinking he's done wrong and thinking the punishment is wholly unfair are not mutually exclusive view points.

Get him back to Liverpool, get him help, support him and make him a better person. It was working until Uruguay and WC got in the way. Liverpool are good for Suarez and Suarez is good for Liverpool.

As for what everyone else thinks of him and us. Couldn't give one ****.

I think we'd all prefer that, but talk of swap deals and £20m or £30m plus Sanchez is just asking for trouble. It would possibly be the worst transfer in our history.

If we do it, we do it right, and that means getting top money for Luis.

I think thats delusional - I don't think he gives a solitary **** about who he plays for or the fans that follow him. Its all about him.

Since Suarez is banned from football related activity, including administrative, then surely that ends the notion of a summer transfer. A transfer from one football club to another is an administrative football related activity is it not?

Until he stops wearing red he is one of us
Who knows how he feels about the club. That is just speculation based on nothing.

Its based on how he acts on a football pitch and him doing tantrums last summer to move away! Its all about him!

We now need to go out this summer and make sure he won't be missed that much and that certainly doesn't start by blowing £25m on Lallana.

With this news we need to find another attacker who can hit the ground running. I'd make a move for higuain or Di Maria

I can't help but laugh at this comical situation. We knew he was a nut job when we signed him, when he ****ed off Evra, and when he bit Ivanovic. So now he's done it again. Is anyone actually surprised?

As for all the talk about the punishment being unfair on Liverpool ... when does justice take into account the indirect effects of a punishment. A person goes to jail - is it fair on their family? Is it hell, but they have to live with it because they've hitched their wagons together.

Same goes for us. Whether the appeal works to get the sentence reduced, he will miss some time. It's up to the club to decide what to do now. The next time something happens, and there will be a next time, the consequences will be even greater.
