At which point he'd be flashing his knickers at Real or Barca!

We wouldn't care as Sterling would be coming into his prime

If he's going, get shot as soon as possible so that the club can move on and plan for next season rather than having this cloud overshadowing everything.
Last year we Ser a deadline to stump up the cash or he wasn't being sold. I expect the same this summer.

We shall see. But I'd say the club are willing to sell this time. That is a shift from last year's stance.
          Oh I don't know.

I agree with both of ye. Last year we didn't want to sell, this year we almost certainly still don't, but are prepared to at the right price. I don't think there was a right price last year
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Has there been anything come out of the Club to suggest they are willing to sell?

Nope - not a jot from the club or Suarez or Barca, Real, Bayern, PSG, Monaco or Accrington Stanley.

Not officially, but then why would the club push themselves in to a negotiating corner by saying they want to sell? I think it's safe to assume that we'll accept an offer of between £60m - £80m and not accept anything else.

Only via the Echo, Bascombe and others. I.e. The usual channels.

You wouldn't expect anybody worth their salt to name a price in public before an offer is received. That would be lunacy.
                    Oh I don't know.

No club would ever announce that they want to sell a player. But the general consensus amongst most Journos is that we would if the fee was met. Dont think thats too much of a leap of faith to suggest its correct.

No matter what, there must have been some communication between Suarez, Rodgers and the club and I can't see that Rodgers would want to let go easily if at all.

It's not about wanting to sell. If there's a clause and it is met, we have to sell. I think it's more about the club being prepared for such a scenario rather than pursuing it. We'll be holding firm over the fee, not the transfer itself.

If the clause is met, bye bye Luis, have a nice life, if they want him on the cheap just **** them off, quite easy really.

£60m is a steal. Needs to be £80m+.
                              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Ian Ayre was in Barcelona not a month ago. Suarez, his lawyer, his agent and his pet labrador have been showing a bit of thigh all summer. Sure, there's nothing concrete, but the breadcrumbs lead to Spain.
