God i hope the club dig their heels in on this now. I could tolerate seeing Luis play for Madrid.

But i'd be beside myself seeing him running around for those dirty gypsy ****s.

The only saving grace would be getting Sanchez, but thats looking unlikely.

Barcelona praise Suarez for his apology. If you can't see the game that's being played now you never will.

Yes Tony, it's called business, transfer business, been done this way for ages, and it's a game we at LFC play very well too when it suits.

How do Barca fans feel about Suarez?

Do they think he's worth the hassle? Do they think Sanchez + cash is a good deal?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I'm not sure whether they can afford the clause or not but its clearly an attempt to get him at a lower value

I suspect that LFC will not let him go on the cheap however I would be VERY surprised if Barcelona paid the full release amount

I think a compromise will be reached which will be slightly under the release clause amount and I think that is why Barcelona are pushing the cash plus player option because that gives them a better chance of bigging up the value of their own player and lowering our valuation of Suarez

This deal all depends on what FSG and Rodgers want. If the want to sell, a deal will be reached, if they don't want to sell, then he won't go for a penny less than his buy out clause. It's as simple as that. FSG has shown last summer that they will not be ****ed about in any way, shape or form. Either way LFC will be confident the team will be improved next season. "Will it make the boat go faster?" Let's wait and see, can't wait for the season to start.

Spot on. FSG IMO aren't the sort who'll be swayed by Barca and others playing games in the media, they'll have to pay either the release clause or give us Sanchez and at least 45m.

                            3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I can see why so many fans hate Barcelona already. Incredible arrogance from them and we've barely got started yet. I await their first utterly derisory offer.

Yeah I think he's responding to those with their head in the sand regarding the significance of Suarez's apology, rather than commenting on how clubs go about transfers.
