Torres transfer broke me in terms of getting emotionally attached to players. I wish he had given us one year in the CL before moving, but I think he was thinking about his age - 28 in January. He wanted to play in Barcelona/Madrid at his absolute best which I think will last for another 2 years.

He gave his everything when he stepped on the pitch. It was a perfect symbiotic relationship. We gave him the atmosphere and the stage to grow as a player. He repaid it with his goals, nutmegs, moments of absolute genius, and three times the money we paid for him. He was an integral part of the comeback of LFC after the doldrums of the Hicks era.

Disappointed that he is leaving but don't have any hard feelings towards him. Except if he plays us in the CL. Then I hope he breaks his leg in the first five minutes.

Not similar at all no, but i really think we'll look to do something different when it comes to replacing Suarez in the side, i have a feeling we wont look to replicate his style at all, but go a different direction.

He's a cunt, but truly astonishing and he's brought us some wonderful times. Some of the stuff he's done for us, really sad that we will never get to see him again but then again I've had enough of him.

Enjoy the memories eh lads but as above the club is all that matters and we are and always will be better than Barca or Madrid, he'll never be as adored as he was here and he will have to live with that for the rest of his life.
